Vi lever i en värld där mörkret ofta känns påträngande. Rädsla och sorg griper tag i våra hjärtan, och hoppet kan verka avlägset. Men mitt i stormen finns en röst som kallar oss hem – en Fader som aldrig överger sina barn.
Denna sång är en bön, en längtan efter Guds barmhärtighet och frid. Vi ropar till Honom, ber om Hans ingripande, om Hans ljus i vår mörkaste natt. Han som en gång sände sin Son för att frälsa världen, ska också leda oss genom dagens prövningar och morgondagens utmaningar.
”HERRE, var mig nådig, ty jag ropar till dig hela dagen. Gläd din tjänares själ, ty till dig, Herre, lyfter jag min själ. Ty du, Herre, är god och förlåter, rik på nåd till alla som ropar till dig.”
– Psalm 86:3-5
Vi ser en värld i oro, men vi vet att Gud är trofast. Även när vi inte ser vägen framåt, leder Han oss. Hans barmhärtighet har burit oss genom tiderna, och Hans kärlek förblir evig.
”Herren är barmhärtig och nådig, sen till vrede och rik på kärlek.”
– Psalm 103:8
När vi sjunger denna sång, låt oss öppna våra hjärtan och komma ihåg att vi inte är ensamma. Vår Fader hör våra rop, torkar våra tårar och leder oss hem.
”Ty jag vet vilka tankar jag har för er, säger Herren, nämligen fridens tankar och inte ofärdens, för att ge er en framtid och ett hopp.”
– Jeremia 29:11
Så låt oss be tillsammans:
Fader av barmhärtighet, hör vårt rop. Lyft oss upp, led oss hem. I din kärlek finner vi frid. Amen.

A Cry For Mercy – En bön om ljus och frid.
We live in a world where darkness often feels overwhelming. Fear and sorrow grip our hearts, and hope can seem distant. But in the midst of the storm, there is a voice calling us home – a Father who never abandons His children.
This song is a prayer, a longing for God’s mercy and peace. We cry out to Him, asking for His intervention, for His light in our darkest night. He who once sent His Son to save the world will also guide us through today’s trials and tomorrow’s challenges.
“Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long. Rejoice the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.”
– Psalm 86:3–5
We see a world in turmoil, but we know that God is faithful. Even when we cannot see the path ahead, He is leading us. His mercy has carried us through the ages, and His love remains forever.
“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”
– Psalm 103:8
As we sing this song, let us open our hearts and remember that we are not alone. Our Father hears our cries, wipes away our tears, and leads us home.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.”
