Jesus – Vägen, Sanningen och Livet
”Jag är vägen, sanningen och livet. Ingen kommer till Fadern utom genom mig.” (Johannes 14:6)
Inledning
När Jesus talar till sina lärjungar kvällen innan han går till korset, säger han något som har ekat genom historien: ”Jag är vägen, sanningen och livet.” Det är inte bara ett påstående – det är en inbjudan och ett löfte. Jesus erbjuder inte en teori eller en moralisk vägledning, han erbjuder sig själv som den enda vägen till Gud.
I en värld av många röster, osäkerhet och död, står Jesus där – som vägen vi får gå, sanningen vi får lita på och livet vi får ta emot.
Jag är Vägen
Människan har i alla tider sökt efter vägen till Gud, vägen till mening och trygghet. Jesus säger inte bara att han visar vägen – han är vägen. Det innebär att det är genom hans person, hans liv, död och uppståndelse vi finner gemenskap med Gud.
”Ingen kommer till Fadern utom genom mig.” (Joh 14:6)
Det är ett exklusivt påstående – men också en öppen inbjudan till alla som vill komma.
Jag är Sanningen
I en tid av relativism och förvirring, säger Jesus att han är sanningen – inte en av många, utan den sanna uppenbarelsen av vem Gud är. Han är det eviga Ordet som blev människa. I honom finns Guds trofasthet, klarhet och löfte.
”Och Ordet blev kött och bodde bland oss, och vi såg hans härlighet… full av nåd och sanning.” (Johannes 1:14)
Jag är Livet
Jesus är inte bara den som ger liv – han är livet självt. Det eviga livet börjar inte efter döden, det börjar i gemenskap med honom nu. ”Den som har Sonen har livet.” (1 Joh 5:12)
Hans liv besegrar döden, hans liv fyller vår tomhet, hans liv föder glädje, frid och mening.
Vad betyder det för oss?
– Du behöver inte irra – Jesus är vägen.
– Du behöver inte tvivla – Jesus är sanningen.
– Du behöver inte tyna bort – Jesus är livet.
– Du får komma som du är – och låta honom leda dig till Fadern.
Avslutning
Jesus är inte en väg bland många – han är Vägen.
Han är inte bara en lärare – han är Sanningen.
Han är inte bara en välsignelse – han är Livet självt.
Fäst din tro vid honom, följ honom, lev i honom – och du ska inte gå vilse, inte bli bedragen, och inte förgås.

Herre Jesus, du är vägen, sanningen och livet.
Led mig när jag är vilsen, förankra mig när jag tvivlar, och fyll mig när jag är tom.
Hjälp mig att leva i din sanning och följa dig hela vägen hem till Fadern.

Introduction
When Jesus speaks to His disciples the night before He goes to the cross, He says something that has echoed through history:
”I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
It’s not just a statement – it’s an invitation and a promise.
Jesus doesn’t offer a theory or moral guidance; He offers Himself as the only way to God.
In a world of many voices, uncertainty, and death, Jesus stands before us – as the way we may walk, the truth we can trust, and the life we are invited to receive.
I Am the Way
Humanity has always searched for a way – a way to God, to meaning, to peace.
Jesus doesn’t just point out the way – He is the way.
Through His person, His life, death, and resurrection, we find fellowship with God.
”No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
It’s an exclusive claim – but also an open invitation to all who want to come.
I Am the Truth
In a time of relativism and confusion, Jesus says He is the truth – not one among many, but the true revelation of who God is.
He is the eternal Word made flesh.
In Him we find God’s faithfulness, clarity, and promise.
”The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory… full of grace and truth.”
(John 1:14)
I Am the Life
Jesus is not only the one who gives life – He is life itself.
Eternal life doesn’t begin after death; it begins now, in communion with Him.
”Whoever has the Son has life.” (1 John 5:12)
His life conquers death.
His life fills our emptiness.
His life brings joy, peace, and purpose.
What Does This Mean for Us?
– You don’t have to wander – Jesus is the way.
– You don’t have to doubt – Jesus is the truth.
– You don’t have to wither – Jesus is the life.
– You can come just as you are – and let Him lead you to the Father.
Conclusion
Jesus is not one way among many – He is the Way.
He is not just a teacher – He is the Truth.
He is not just a blessing – He is the Life itself.
Fix your faith on Him, follow Him, live in Him – and you will not go astray, you will not be deceived, and you will not perish.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life.
Lead me when I am lost, anchor me when I doubt, and fill me when I am empty.
Help me to live in Your truth and follow You all the way home to the Father.
In You I have everything. Amen.
